Our Philosophy
EQ Pet Travel was created by a long time show breeder and exhibitor with the philosophy that every dog should travel to their destination in the same way they transport their own show dogs;
Safe. Comfortable. Treated like the precious cargo they are.
Whether relocating, transporting a rescue, buying a new puppy, or just need extra help getting your pet from point A to point B, you can trust that your dog is being treated like our own. Since its inception, EQ Pet Travel has expanded to include trusted family and close friends who share the same knowledge, philosophies and dedication when it comes to pet care and safety. We do NOT search for our drivers on Craigslist. We do not hire out to strangers. We do not trust your pet with anyone we don’t know or wouldn’t trust with our own. As we move to expand the business, it is friends and family who help make that happen.
The extra steps we take to ensure a safe and comfortable ground transport include soft comfortable bedding (not shavings or newspaper), potty and exercise breaks every four hours, safe and roomy crates, water available at all times, “paws off the ground” potty breaks for puppies, climate controlled vehicles with special attention given to brachy breeds including cool crate pads, fans, and spray bottles in hot weather. We require health certificates and vaccinations for all interstate travel to ensure the health of all those traveling.
Air travel includes comfortable accommodations in a travel carrier with in-cabin service, or for allowed breeds the owner can opt for checked baggage while accompanied.
